Collaborate

There are millions of good questions out there. What’s on your mind?

In addition to new article submissions, at Principally Uncertain, our research projects can be forked.

What does that mean? That you can pick up where a previous writer left off! Basically, most articles on Principally Uncertain end with a What’s Next? section, where the article comes up with a bunch of possible follow-on lines of research. Other people are explicitly encouraged to take on any of those forks, take the dataset (if existing), and run with it.

We believe that research is best as a collaboration and that our audience is a critical part of the research process.

Articles run from 1000-2000 words, and you can download the submission and style guidelines in handy .pdf form. Fill out the form below, and we’ll take a look!

We do our best to review all submissions and respond within one week.

Here’s how you can participate:

Café - Discuss!

Got a proposal for a new project? Submit it below!

    Fork my project!

Got an idea for an existing project series, either one suggested by the previous author or something entirely new? Take it up and run with it!

The more people we have thinking about interesting research topics, the better! We are collectively far more creative than any one of us individually.

To contribute to the brainstorm, head over to our project ideas page. You can also shoot us an idea in the field below.
